Welcome to the 62nd ISI World Statistics Congress 2019! We cordially invite and welcome you to the 62nd ISI World Statistics Congress (ISI WSC) 2019 to be held from 18 - 23 August 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are working towards making the Malaysian edition of the World Statistics Congress a highly innovative and valuable contribution to our statistical profession. The distinguished biennial world class event of the ISI will be jointly organised by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and Malaysia Institute of Statistics (ISM). The congress is an avenue for 2,500 delegates across the world to discuss over 1,500 papers in a period of 5 days. ISI WSC 2019 will not just be a platform for debate but also a significant training and networking opportunity for all of us. ISI WSC 2019 will offer an extensive scientific programme including numerous parallel sessions, training sessions, workshops and plenary sessions with the best international experts in the various fields of statistics. It will be an important moment of exchanging ideas, exploring the essential scientific programme and professional exchange for business and networking from around the world.
