4. Discussion and Conclusion
Overall, the results of this study explain that Kelantan's poverty rate by HIS
report has show the decreased from 7.2% in 2007 to 0.4% in 2016. The decline
was due to the implementation of the Poverty Eradication Programme from
2009 to 2019 involving an allocation of RM799.09 million with channeling
478,379 assistance to groups under this PLI.
