5. Conclusion
Based on the feedback that we received from the students, e-learning is a
favourable alternative medium to the traditional classroom learning. They
discovered that STATLEARN@ can enhance their understanding about
hypothesis testing. They also find that STATLEARN@ has the interface and
features that enable them to learn and practice doing statistics exercises easily
with the help of interactive built-in materials. STATLEARN@ also provides
flexibility and convenience in assisting students to learn statistics using any
mobile device regardless of their locations. It is particularly useful for slow
learners and definitely complement classroom teaching. E-learning will keep
growing as an essential part of academic and professional education.
However, more effort are needed to include the right materials and create a
more appealing and effective online learning environment (Goyal, 2012).
