            Population Data
                Egypt  population  census  2006  and  2017  were  used  to  compute  the
            population growth for the four cities in the level of sub sections (Shiakha and
            Village).

            2.4. Data Processing
                The following diagram shows the detailed steps of data processing work
            flow; these steps are repeated for each city of the case study in the two years
            2006 and 2017.





















                Image classification is the process of sorting pixels into finite number of
            individual classes or categories of data, based on their pixel values. (B. Bhatta
            2010). Classification of images is used to extract information classes from a
            multiband raster image. The resulting raster can be used to create thematic
            maps; there are two types of classification: supervised and unsupervised.
