Sattelite imagery
To calculate the rate of land consumption, Appropriate downloaded
Images were chosen according to the following criteria for years 2006 and
2017:
1- Availability.
2- Adequate resolution.
3- Same periodic time for each year.
4- Similar spectral bands.
5- Full coverage of the study area to avoid image mosaics.

Table 1 shows some metadata of the images used in the study.
